Duties of the Investor Relations Department
Investor Relations Department was founded on the basis of the principles
indicated in the first chapter of the Corporate Governance Principles
published by the Capital Market Board in July of 2003. Within this
context, the duties of the Investor Relationship Management are defined
as below:
- To establish a section on the Instutition’s web site and provide
here all recent information with the intention to inform the
shareholders about subjects that are related to them, such as our
bank’s articles of incorporation, structure of ownership, members of
the Board of Directors, annual reports, structure of capital, all
developments that would affect the bank’s financial standing,
quarterly profit and loss statements, information about branches and
management staff, and the decrees of the General Assembly of
Shareholders.
- To keep the records about shareholders, including contact
information, safe, reliable and recent.
- To update present information and provide shareholders an outlet
for them to reach actual and simultaneous information about the
Bank, except commercial and confidential information that cannot, by
law and regulations, be publicized.
- To arrange all kinds of preparation for the General Assembly of
the Shareholders, and to coordinate all matters to that effect
between the Board of Directors and the bank’s management.
- To prepare and send all the necessary documents the shareholders
may utilize concerning the General Assembly in a timely manner.
- To prepare and publicize all beneficial information in order to
inform the shareholders through annual reports.
- To present to the attention of the shareholders information on
the results of the General Assembly.
- To respond to the queries of the shareholders in accordance with
legislation, articles of incorporation and corporate governance
principles.
- To take measures in banking services to increase investor
satisfaction.
